Dark red, plum hues.

Lifted rose aromatics with fresh wafts of raspberries, pomegranate and a hint of cracked pepper.

This medium-bodied wine displays delightfully feminine floral characters supported by rosehip, raspberry, pomegranate and cranberries, finishing with seamlessly silky, talc tannins and low acid.

Only 165-dozen bottles and 60 magnums were produced of this regional hero variety from a small vineyard in the Geographe region. This stunning wine spent six-months resting in a blend of new and seasoned oak barriques.

This wine is a departure from our winemaker, Damian Hutton’s, usual style of grenache. It is a delicately feminine style of wine that oozes a pretty floral bouquet with silky, soft tannins and a seamless red fruit finish.

Gained top points from Matthews, who thought it: “A different spin on chenin blanc with new oak vanilla bean notes on the nose. Surprisingly, works quite well on the palate. Glossy green apple, baked pastries and crème fraiche. Nice line and
length, with seamless acidity.” I loved its apple/stone fruit combination, apple-skin texture and length.

Appealed to me with its positive, gooseberry and feijoa aromas. The palate’s round, with flavours turning more to stonefruits. It finishes with subtle sweetness and good ength. Honan noted, “A subtle lick of volatile acidity on the inhale. Saline sweetness on the palate, lemon and passionfruit. Moreishness. Great carry, compels another sip.
