This light-bodied red wine is akin to a Beaujolais with balanced acidity and low tannin. Crafted from Tempranillo, Mencia, Grenache, Arinto, Malbec, and Shiraz, the Symbolist is a light and delicate wine that can be served chilled.

It exhibits a delicious bouquet of sour cherries and redskin licorice, delightfully coating the palate with an array of fresh red berries, cherries and raspberries, leading swiftly into a softy and juicy finish with silky tannins.

93 points – Paul Edwards West Australian Wine Review 2022

Gained top points from Matthews, who thought it: “A different spin on chenin blanc with new oak vanilla bean notes on the nose. Surprisingly, works quite well on the palate. Glossy green apple, baked pastries and crème fraiche. Nice line and
length, with seamless acidity.” I loved its apple/stone fruit combination, apple-skin texture and length.

Nikola Estate Regional Chenin Blanc 2021

Appealed to me with its positive, gooseberry and feijoa aromas. The palate’s round, with flavours turning more to stonefruits. It finishes with subtle sweetness and good ength. Honan noted, “A subtle lick of volatile acidity on the inhale. Saline sweetness on the palate, lemon and passionfruit. Moreishness. Great carry, compels another sip.
