Hot, warm conditions compared to previous vintages saw harvest commence in early January. This resulted in optimum fruit ripeness of excellent quality from well-managed blocks in the south west.

WINEMAKING NOTES
The fruit was hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed directly to 100% brand new French oak where it was allowed a natural ferment. Barrel stirring was undertaken weekly and the wine underwent a full malolatic fermentation. It was rested for nine months in French oak before being blended and bottled in December 2022.
TASTING NOTES
Pale straw, green edges in color, on the nose expect a fresh bouquet of apricot, vanilla pod, honeydew melon, pear tart and puff pastry. The palate is rich and full-bodied with yellow tart peach, vanilla, almond nougat and honeysuckle characters with a soft finish.
